"Walking In Wisdom In 2014"

This is a new year and a time for new beginnings. Let us put the old behind us and make a choice that we are going to walk in wisdom in this year of 2014. To walk in true wisdom is to become one with God.

Vs. 4 "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the

vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me."

Vs. 5 "I am the vine, ye are the branches; he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth

forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing.

Vs. 6 "If a man abideth not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is witherth; and men gather them,

and cast them into fire, and they are burned."

When we abide in Christ, we are made vitally alive by the power of God. We become a mighty force in God's victorious army. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge according to Proverbs 9:10. Wisdom is following the instructions and obeying the commandments of God. Keeping God's commandments is the first requirement in becoming one with God. It is to be continually obedient to His voice, which is the Word of God (1 John 3:24). When we are disobedient to the word of God, we are no longer abiding in Christ and cannot operate in the anointing and power of God. God wants us to operate in the same power and anointing which was upon His Son, Jesus Christ.

Another requirement in becoming one with God is that you should follow Christ example. "He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked" (1 John 2:6). In living a power packed life and walking in true wisdom is learning to abide in Christ - to become one with God. You must abide in Christ and He in you before his power can flow freely through you.You are to make your daily habitation in him through prayer and daily meditation of His word, the living and written word. If you allow His word to abide in you daily, you can walk in true wisdom and become one with God in 2014. You can experience the supernatural power of God and blessings beyond measure.
